Pack your pole bag
Getting ready for class? It’s not just a routine, it’s the exciting step that gets you pumped for class and sets you up for success! It’s easy to feel prepared:
1. First up, water!
Stay fueled and hydrated before, during, and after your class—it’s a simple step that makes a big difference.
2. Bring an old rag (or two)
You’ll want a least one rag to wipe down your hands and pole during class. Some students like a second rag to wipe down their face and body when things get sweaty.
3. Consider a grip aid
Grip aids like Dryhands or iTac are not required but can be game changers in maintaining a solid hold throughout class. Dryhands is a liquid chalk designed to support your hand and body grip. iTac is much stickier and rolls on like a glue stick for maximum body support. Both are available at our studio to try out and can be purchased in our shop.
4. A must - knee pads
For dance focused classes like Salient Spin Choreography or Floorwork, you’ll need a pair of knee pads to keep knees comfortable while we perform knee based moves and transitions. Pro tip: Volleyball knee pads work just as well as pole-branded knee pads and will save you a few bucks!). We also sell knee pads in our shop.
5. Did someone say heels!?
Heels are not required but can add fun and flair to your movement. We love introducing new students to the magic of heels, so if you’re curious, ask your instructor and they can show you our heel wall where you can try on various styles and sizes to find what works best for you.
6. This is all great, but what should I wear?
Be comfortable! Basic athletic attire is perfect, but if you want to dress up, we welcome that too! Be sure to bring a pair of shorts or spandex for pole tricks and an extra pair of socks for smooth glides.
And just like that, you’re ready to slay!

Scheduling Policies
All of our scheduling policies support our small group classroom settings to ensure you receive thorough instruction during class. Because of our policies, we are able to provide flexible scheduling options and maximum customization and personalization for your pole experience.
As a courtesy to our instructors and staff, there is a 7hr cancellation policy for all pole classes and a 2hr cancellation policy for all yoga or MatWerk classes. Spaces are limited and other students should have the opportunity to join the class if you cannot make it. You will lose your class credit if you late cancel under the cancellation window.
There is a 1hr grace period if you schedule a class and need to cancel it within the cancellation window.
We offer a 2 person waitlist. If the class you’d like to join is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a space becomes available, you will receive an email to notify you so that you can confirm your attendance. If you do not confirm within two hours, the waitlist will move on to the next person so be sure to check your emails.
Classes require a 2-student minimum. If 2 students do not sign up for a class 2 hours before the class is to begin, the class will be canceled and students will receive their credits back. If this happens, an instructor will reach out to you.
Class credits do not rollover after their expiration date. Unused credits will be lost.
Scheduling Tips
Our classes are not sequential, meaning that you can mix and match your classes based on your interests and availability.
You can schedule, cancel, and reschedule your classes as much as you’d like up until the cancellation window noted in our policies below.
Scheduling your classes ahead of time allows you to mentally and physically block off "you" time, making it more likely that you’ll commit to yourself. You can always cancel the same day if life gets in the way as long as it's within the cancellation window.
On the flip side, you can schedule your classes before class if your days tend to be unpredictable. We also offer a 2 person waitlist if the class you’d like to join is full.
